“I lost my film processor. I’m using radiochromic film with RIT’s Radiochromic Film Uniformity Correction*. My results are as good as if I were using radiographic film.* I love the flexibility in RIT’s V5.1 - it also accepts my generic TIFF and JPEG images.”

*”In all cases, the application of the new RIT background correction algorithm improved the results of radiochromic film. Using the correction, the percentage of pixels exceeding the gamma threshold dropped from 8.1% to 4.6%. IMRT QA results with the RIT background corrected radiochromic films were comparable to radiographic films.”
